Library and Information Management Team

  • General affairs and accounting of the library
  • Manage budgets for purchasing books (budget assignment and settlement on accounts).
  • Select and purchase the materials for the library.
  • Register materials and remove them from the register.
  • Donate materials and accept them.
  • Put books in order(sorting, cataloging, revision)
  • Arrange the demand signs on the original copies of books
  • Control the fixtures.
  • Control the library building and facilities, and request for repair.
  • Other details incidental to above each number.

Library and Information Service Team

  • Preserve and control the collection of books.
  • Information and guidance on use of the library.
  • Operation incidental to lending and return of books.
  • Operation about an external person who reads books
  • Manage and operate a stack room (reference room, degree thesis/dissertation room), valuable books room, special material room, massed stack room, various reading rooms, and opened room.
  • Restore (bookbinding) and manage the damaged books.
  • Decide on indemnification for lost books and request the material removal.
  • Operation regarding statistics on reading in the library.
  • Operation regarding issuing and using an admission ticket for the library.
  • Select the reference books

Library and Information Resources Team

  • Manage the computer system and homepage of the library.
  • Select the subscribed source collection (academic DB, electronic journal, etc.) and select non-book materials.
  • Select academic magazine and manage subscription.
  • Manage and operate the multi-media information center, periodical room, and visual and audio archive.
  • Mutual borrowing and lending with each library and provide original texts.
  • Educate users for the library use.
  • Prepare the filing of periodicals
  • Information on the library and produce various publicity matters.
  • Establish the list DB.
  • Manage the entrusting the copyright of academic materials produced by the university.
