The world that graduating students enter today requires them to think clearly, communicate effectively, seek right information, and adapt to change. These, as well as such attributes as historical perspective and analytical abilities, are the hallmarks of a liberal arts graduate. Through its comprehensive and multi-disciplinary curriculum, the College of the Liberal Arts aims to introduce students to the history, culture, political, economic, and social conditions of human experience. Liberal Arts students will learn to have critical think skills, speak and write articulately, and gain a broader cultural appreciation that will better prepare them for their future endeavors in diverse fields. The analytic and creative thinking skills, awareness of the value of the past, and the sensitivity to other cultures that the College of aims to foster in students will make them productive and engaged citizens of the world.

In order to achieve this goal, the curriculum provides a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary exposure to fields of study, along with the enhancement of a virtuous personality. It further offers students a broadening of perspectives, through field-training, that will enable them to serve in a diverse field in society.
